This is a hidden gem of a garden very much in need of funds to continue the restoration. You would not believe how close the motorway is, and planes directly overhead remind you that this is on a flight path to Birmingham Airport. We watched the Central England Concert Band perform popular songs from films and musicals outside on the lawn. It was a lovely way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful gardens managed by volunteers. There are all sorts of events and activities throughout the year - music, drama, art, craft, foraging... - or you can simply enjoy the trees and flowers in their different seasons. Entrance charge is very reasonable, and if you are local and likely to visit a few times a year at least, the annual membership is definitely worthwhile as it includes free entry to a couple of events.

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Erdington or West Midlands. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
